Föllinge Golv solid wood flooring

NATURAL WOODEN FLOORING - alive, smooth and comfortable to walk on. Produced out of natural softwood, without chemicals that can cause allergies or other symptoms. It is resistant, durable with lasting beauty.
FÖLLINGE-GOLVET is a solid wood flooring of very high quality. Produced out of slow growing white- or redwood from northern Sweden and is available in conical or parallel boards. The floor is delivered treated or non-treated (vax, varnish, etc).
The classical parallel flooring have boards up to 28 cm wide. The widths can be mixed to make the floor more vivid.
The conical flooring is shaped according to the individual tree`s length and shape. It is custom made according to the customers drawings or sketches already at the factory, where the board is sawn in a conical shape of various widths. When installing the boards are placed with roots- and topend next to each other repeatedly. Thus the conical Föllinge-flooring becomes a unique work of art.

Facts

Solid wood floorboards in three categories - conical, parallell and "Allmoge" (swedish word).
The floorboard is made out of slow growing white- or redwood from northern Sweden. It can be ordered in oak, ash, birch or other species. The floors are special kiln dried to a moisture content of about 8%. The boards have a "tongue" on both top- and rootend.
In addition to flooring, mouldings and wall- and ceiling-panelling can be produced upon request.
INSTALLATION
The boards are screwed to cross-beams or installed as "floating flooring" glued side-by-side, on an even surface such as concrete o. celtulaboard. Mounting is done in such fashion so that movement caused by variations of climate, is taken up by an open join along the walls (concealed under floor moulding).
DIMENSIONS
All models are delivered in falling lengths i.e from 1,8 m up to about 4,7 m.
Parallell
Thickness: 30 mm. Width: 180, 230, 280 mm. and thickness 40 mm. Width: 230, 280 mm.
Conical
Thickness: 30 and 40 mm. Width: 200-400 mm (conically shaped)
Allmoge
Thickness: 16 mm. Width: 110 mm. and thickness: 25 mm. Width: 130 mm, 155 mm, 180 mm.
All floors can be ordered in special lengths according to customer specifications.

Surface treatments

The Föllinge-Golv flooring is delivered untreated as standard. After installation and sanding the floor is treated with either flooring-oil, varnish, soda and oil again or with soda and coniferous tree-based soap.
If a colour tone is desired the floor is treated with a pigmented oil.
If desired the floor can be delivered already treated.

FÖLLINGE GOLV develops material and methods for treating flooring in an environmentally friendly way. We have developed our own high class floor oil in cooperation with carpenters, paint producers, and linseed oil producers.
FÖLLINGE GOLVOLJA is based on refined lin seed oils and natural resins.
We can provide lye (white), soap (natural and white), or floor oil (natural and white) when delivering the floor.
